      How to get it — about 10 minutes
      1. LinkedIn → Settings & Privacy → Data Privacy.
      2. Choose Get a copy of your data.
      3. Pick Want something in particular? and tick Profile, Positions, Education, Skills, Certifications, Projects and Recommendations.
      4. Request the archive. LinkedIn emails a download link, usually within ten minutes.
      5. Drop the .zip above — no need to unzip it.

      A full export also contains your messages, your connections and every job you have applied to. None of that is opened: only the seven profile files above are read out of the archive, and the rest is never decompressed.
