Support

MyCareerProof reads the documents you give it and builds a record of your career from them. If something here is wrong, or you want it gone, this page is how to reach a person.

Getting in touch

support@mycareerproof.com

This is a small operation, not a support desk — mail is read by a person rather than a queue, usually within a couple of days. Saying which email address your account uses, and roughly when the thing happened, gets to an answer faster than anything else.

A charge you do not recognise

MyCareerProof appears on a card statement as MYCAREERPROOF.COM. If you see that and cannot place it, it is a subscription or a one-off purchase made with this site — write to support before disputing it with your bank, and if it is our mistake we will refund it rather than argue about it.

Cancelling, and refunds

Any paid plan can be cancelled at any time from your account page. You keep what you have already paid for until the end of the period you paid for; nothing renews after that. Cancelling does not delete anything — your record stays until you delete it.

Payments are not refunded. That includes the unused part of a period you cancel in, and the unused part of a period you close your account in — closing ends the plan immediately. It is said here plainly because a refund policy discovered afterwards is worse than a strict one stated up front, and because the free tier exists so that nobody has to buy this to find out what it does: one full run, on your own résumé, with the whole result on screen, before any card is involved.

Two things are not covered by that and are not refunds. If you are charged more than once for the same thing, or charged after cancelling, that is a mistake and it will be put right — write to support@mycareerproof.com. And where your local law gives you a cancellation right that overrides this, your law wins; we are not going to argue with a statute.

Deleting your record

Unpublishing is self-serve — take a published page down from your account at any time and keep the record behind it.

Closing the account is self-serve too, at the bottom of your account page. It takes everything: the documents you uploaded, the profile built from them, every published page, the name it was published at, and any domain you pointed here. The name is released for someone else to claim. You confirm by typing the address on the account, and it cannot be undone.

One thing worth knowing before you press it: a paid plan ends immediately rather than at the end of the period you have paid for, and payments are not refunded — including the part of the period you have not used. If you want the rest of a period you have already paid for, cancel from the billing portal and close the account when it runs out. Being charged twice, or charged after cancelling, is a different thing: that is a mistake, not a refund, and it will be put right.

Something in my record is wrong

The record is built only from what your documents support, and the résumé Studio lets you correct anything by hand. If it stated something your documents do not — the thing this product exists not to do — we want to hear about it specifically, because that is a defect rather than a preference.

The rest

Privacy — what is kept, where, and who else sees it. Terms — what the service does and does not promise.
